Parakeet began as Zelo Pay, founded in Melbourne in 2018 to reduce unpaid invoices and late business-to-business payments. Co-founded by Charles Wong and Rob Owens, it integrates with Xero so businesses can batch BPAY payments and add BPAY to Xero invoices with automated reconciliation.
